alomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG (Soft Ground) is an out-and-out trail racing shoe for competitions in wet and muddy terrain. The shoe is designed for Kilian Jornet Burgada, and hundreds of prototypes have been tested leading to the best S/Lab Sense 7 racing shoe ever. With a lower weight, new and improved top, sole, and Lace Pocket, Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG will become your preferred race shoe.

SURFACES

Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG is made with a rougher profile than the normal Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 Racing. The rougher profile ensures better traction in muddy and wet terrain.

If you need a race shoe for dry, harder surfaces with rocks and roots, then the normal Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 Racing is instead the obvious choice.

TOP AND FIT

Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG is designed with a new 2nd seamless mesh construction that gives it a great fit. The fit of Salomon’s EndoFit and SensiFit makes it fit like a sock, giving you full control in your race. The top is made in a Breathable Open Mesh that provides great ventilation.

The tongue is laser-cut and fixed, so that it envelops all of the instep, giving it the optimal hold of your foot. The unique QuickLaces lacing system by Salomon makes the tying quick. The front of the shoe is protected with the Protective TPU Toe Cap, which is a reinforced material that protects against impacts of rocks and the like on your run.

With the new Lace Pocket, it is easy to hide away the excess of your laces. The new Lace Pocket is turned around compared to version 6, so that the laces can be hidden away on the top of the tongue.

MIDSOLE

Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG is made with a 4mm. heel-drop. It is also constructed with Salomon’s EnergyCell+ and Dual Density Compressed EVA material, which gives you firm suspension full of return. This combination and the 4 mm. heel-drop and a stack height of 14/18 mm. makes it a suspensive shoe where you can still feel the surface beneath and have full control during your run.

OUTERSOLE

Salomon S/Lab Sense 7 SG is designed with the roughly profiled ContaGrip that provides great traction on wet and muddy surfaces. On the front of the profile, it is designed with optimal traction for runs uphill and take-off, and at the heel the profile is made to give you optimal traction for runs downhill.

The sole is made with a ProFeel film carbon plate that protects the foot against sharp rocks.
